📥 Fantasy Fallout Incoming: How the 2025 NFL Draft Could Shake Up Veteran Value

The 2025 NFL Draft is just four days away, and while most eyes are on the future of the league, dynasty managers should be looking over their shoulders. Every rookie landing spot has the potential to disrupt established depth charts, steal touches, and tank the value of veteran players who were once locked-in starters.

This week, we’re breaking down key positions where veteran fantasy value could be in serious jeopardy based on team needs and draft rumors. It’s all about staying one step ahead.

❄️ Veterans on Thin Ice

These veteran fantasy starters could take a hit in value depending on how the 2025 NFL Draft unfolds.

🧊 Rhamondre Stevenson (RB, New England)
Starting with a fairly obvious one, Rhamondre Stevenson. He had some good games and some bad games last year, but with Aston Jeanty projected to be drafted by the Patriots 4th overall, his snaps will be greatly reduced. If Rhamondre Stevenson is on your dynasty roster, try to get some trade value out of him while you still can.

🧊 Romeo Doubs (WR, Green Bay)
Different mock drafts all have different predictions, but one similarity across all of them is the Green Bay Packers picking a wide receiver. Who knows if it will be Matthew Golden, Tetairoa McMillan, or Emeka Egbuka, but whoever it is, it will push Doubs to WR3, limiting his snaps for his 2025-2026 season. Sell if you can before people realize his value is fading.

🧊 Jerry Jeudy (WR, Cleveland)
Maybe the most talked about prospect in the draft this year is the Heisman winner, Travis Hunter. Most likely going to be drafted #2 overall by the Cleveland Browns, Hunter has said he wants to play both offense and defense like he did in college. Even if he did, his talent would make him Cleveland‘s new WR1, causing Jerry Jeudy’s fantasy stock to take a hit. There is a lot of uncertainty around what his NFL role will look like, but if you have Jerry Jeudy on your Dynasty roster, this might be your best chance to sell.

🔮 Rookie Watchlist

Highlight a few rookie prospects that could displace veterans.

👀 Omarion Hampton (RB, North Carolina) – Projected to go #20 to the Broncos, but Hampton is an NFL ready running back who could start for most teams that draft him.

👀 Tetairoa McMillan (WR, Arizona) – Considered to be the best WR in the draft by some, McMillan has many possible landing spots, but in all of them, he should be starting Week 1.

👀 Cameron Skatabo (RB, Arizona State) – I think people are forgetting that Skatabo finished 5th in Heisman Voting and won Peach Bowl Offensive MVP despite Arizona State losing in OT 39-31 against Texas. Skatabo has a handful of landing spots, mostly in the second round, but if he is picked by a team like the Giants, he could be the starter Week 1.

💭 Final Fumble

The NFL Draft isn’t just about rookies—it’s about how those picks shift the value of the entire fantasy landscape. Be ready to pivot quickly, sell aging assets before it’s too late, and don’t get too attached to anyone "safe." We’ll be back post-draft to break it all down. Until then, keep those rosters sharp and your trade inbox open.
